Sexuality & Parent Educator | Sexual Abuse Prevention Specialist

Amy Lang, M.A.

Amy Lang, M.A., has been a sexual health educator for over 27 years. In 2006, she combined her expertise in adult education and sexual health to launch Birds & Bees & Kids when she realized there were very few resources to help parents of young kids educate them about sexuality. Through her classes, books, podcast, and online Solutions Center, Amy has helped thousands of parents confidently talk with their kids about sexuality and relationships. After realizing that many of her clients were parenting neurodivergent kids, Amy saw a severe lack of resources and took action. She earned a certificate in neurodivergence and sexuality from Mercy College and developed specialized courses to support these families. As a sexual abuse prevention specialist, Amy also teaches about sexual behavior and child sexual abuse prevention to early childhood and youth-serving organizations. She lives in Seattle, WA with her first husband and their two cats, and are loving getting to know their son who has become a delightful young adult. Learn more about her work at BirdsAndBeesAndKids.com and BBKPros.com.
